AGM and GENTLE YOGA SESSION - ONLINE VIA ZOOM ON 3rd OCTOBER 2020
AGM will be led by the trustees and the Gentle Yoga Session will be led by Fiona Agombar
We invite you to join us for our 2020 AGM at 11AM on 3rd October. Full details of the Agenda for the AGM and the officers for election are in the summer edition of Darshama. Following the AGM there will be a short break and we invite you to rejoin us at 12PM for a gentle yoga session led by Fiona Agombar.
Fiona Agombar is a yoga therapist in the Krishnamacharya Tradition and is accredited as an advanced yoga teacher by the British Wheel of Yoga. She originally trained as a teacher with the Yoga for Health Foundation in 2001. She has studied under TKV Desikachar and his son Dr Kausthub Desikachar. She specialises in teaching yoga for all fatigue conditions, including CFS/ME, exhaustion from stress and post-Covid19 fatigue. Fiona is the author of the book and DVD Beat Fatigue with Yoga (Cherry Red Books) and the new book Yoga Therapy for Stress, Burnout and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (Singing Dragon). Fiona set up the original Yoga for Stress and ME training courses with Yoga Campus and has also run many IST days for the BWY focusing on stress, fatigue and burnout. She studies regularly with her teachers Adyashanti and Kausthub.
For the session on 3rd October Fiona will be teaching using mantra, pranayama and very gentle movement, suitable for all.
This event is offered to all members of the Yoga for Health and Education Trust (YHET) and the cost of this event will be borne by the Trust. For further information please email email@example.com
Places on this event are limited and Registration closes on 1st October. Please note that if you are new to YHET you may be required to complete an additional online Health Questionnaire prior to attending the event. This is required for insurance purposes.
You will require Zoom set up on your PC, tablet or mobile device prior to the session. Full details on how to set this up will be sent to attendees prior to the event. Mobile phones are not suitable for these online sessions as the screen is too small.
For the yoga session you will require a yoga mat and any blocks or belts that you find helpful.
