GENTLE YOGA SESSION - ONLINE VIA ZOOM ON 10th DECEMBER 2020
Session will be led by Leah Barnett
Leah has been teaching yoga for about 18 years since leaving the legal profession. She has trained to teach those with cancer, chronic illness (including fatigue conditions) as well as those who are neuroatypical (autism, cerebral palsy etc).
We invite you to join us online via Zoom for a gentle yoga session from 10.00AM to 11.30AM. Leah's teaching approach is very invitory and open, giving lots of choice to the student to notice and feel what is right for them at any given moment. She works closely with the breath and the internal guidance given by the body (physical and energetic) so that movement is fluid and spontaneous. The option to be still and rest is always available and nothing is compulsory. We will move slowly and mindfully so as to maximise our capacity to notice and feel what is going on in our bodies and therefore what is needed (& not needed) cultivating friendliness towards our whole experience. This session is open to all and fully accessible.
This event is offered to all members of the Yoga for Health and Education Trust (YHET) and the cost of this event will be borne by the Trust. For further information please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Places on this event are limited and Registration closes on 8th December. Please note that if you are new to YHET you may be required to complete an additional online Health Questionnaire prior to attending the event. This is required for insurance purposes.
You will require Zoom set up on your PC, tablet or mobile device prior to the session. Full details on how to set this up will be sent to attendees prior to the event. Mobile phones are not suitable for these online sessions as the screen is too small.
