Liz Brown

Liz is a YHET trustee responsible for learning and development. A Yoga for Health Foundation general hatha yoga teacher.  A Birthlight perinatal yoga teacher.  A ‘yoga for healthy lower backs’ teacher and a Yogacampus yoga therapist, certified with the International Association of Yoga Therapists and registered with the UK Complementary and Natural Health Council. Her teaching is an eclectic amalgamation of modern Scaravelli-inspired, classical Hatha, Therapeutic and Restorative Yoga, with a touch of the Alexander Technique and Feldenkrais. Ruth Chambers

Ruth is a trained and qualified Independent Celebrant, a Complementary therapist, Yoga, Reiki and Meditation teacher and Life Coach. Compassionate and caring she is also an organiser for a voluntary scheme befriending families with small children. You can find out more about Ruth here.

Fiona Agombar

Fiona is a yoga therapist in the Krishnamacharya Tradition and is accredited as an advanced yoga teacher by the British Wheel of Yoga. She originally trained as a teacher with the Yoga for Health Foundation in 2001. She has studied under TKV Desikachar and his son Dr Kausthub Desikachar. She specialises in teaching yoga for all fatigue conditions, including CFS/ME, exhaustion from stress and post-Covid19 fatigue. Fiona is the author of the book and DVD Beat Fatigue with Yoga (Cherry Red Books) and the new book Yoga Therapy for Stress, Burnout and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (Singing Dragon).  You can find out more about Fiona here.

Daniel Groom

Daniel is a talented and experienced yoga teacher and C-IAYT and CNHC registered yoga therapist, who has been practising a wide range of yoga styles since the year 2000. He has studied Yoga Therapy, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra with leading experts and has had first -hand experience of the supportive nature of these practices. Paul Blissett

Paul has the Yoga for Health Foundation General Training Scheme and Remedial Training Scheme certificates. He has studied with teachers from many different yoga traditions and these diverse influences colour his own teaching. He teaches predominantly mixed ability yoga classes and has also taught yoga to adults with learning difficulties as well as classes with an emphasis on mental health and well-being. Since November 2016 he has been accredited to teach yoga in prison on completing the Prison Phoenix Trust Teaching Yoga in Prison Course. You can find out more about Paul here.

The Chellington Cenre

A rural Bedfordshire venue available for yoga residential or day-long events. This link goes to the Centre’s own website but the venue was fully described from a yoga perspective in the Summer 2010 YHET Magazine which all YHET members can access via the website. The Centre is run by Reachout Plus, a charity working with young, disadvantaged and disabled people.
