Our Articles of Association are available on request. Membership is non refundable.
From time to time we will send you information about our activities. If at any time you do not wish to receive these you can unsubscribe by going into the newsletter option. We may also inform you of products or services from other like minded organisations that we think may be of interest. We will not pass your details onto these organisations without your permission.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
The Yoga for Health and Education Trust (YHET) recognises that part of its role, as a professional Yoga organisation, is to ensure the continued professional development (CPD) of its teacher members. Our CPD policy explains the level of CPD expected of YHET teacher members to keep their skills up-to-date and how the CPD policy operates. We welcome participation from all. We are committed to ensuring that all customers including disabled participants and guests are given every opportunity to participate, so we ask that you tell us about any relevant disability, medical condition & dietary requirement at the time of booking. This will enable us to do our best to meet your particular needs. We will let you know on the website/booking form if for some reason the event may present difficulty for those with a particular disability.
Your booking is only guaranteed once full payment is received. We will send you confirmation of your place by email if booked via the website/phone or by post if booked by post, and any further information necessary for joining the course.
As a small, charitable organisation, we cannot afford to withstand losses due to cancellations made by participants.
Should a participant cancel for any reason, or fail to attend an event they have booked, fees may not be returnable depending on the venue chosen. Therefore YHET advises all participants, particularly those prone to unpredictable episodes of ill health, to purchase personal insurance which will reimburse them in the event of having to cancel. YHET may provide a refund or credit as requested by the applicant, less any cancellation fee applicable in respect of the venue, at the absolute discretion of the Trustees.
Should YHET have to cancel an event the participant will receive a refund or a transfer certificate for another YHET event (whichever the participant prefers) for the full amount of fees paid.
In the unlikely event of an event being cancelled, YHET will not be liable for any expenses incurred by the participant associated with joining that event.
YHET reserves the right to change details of events without advance notice, and to ask a participant to leave an event (without recompense) if their behaviour is inappropriate.
Events requiring deposits
Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. The amount of a deposit varies depending on the venue. Please refer to the specific flyer for the event for details.
Full event fees will be due as stipulated before the commencement of the event. If payment is not made by the due date, the place may be allocated to another participant and the deposit will be forfeited.
This policy will be reviewed by the Board of Trustees as necessary
